Pre-Spring Refresh: A First Look at Our Limited-Edition Spring Candles

The Quiet Shift Before Spring

March is that in-between space. Winter is still lingering, Spring is not fully here yet, but something is definitely shifting.

The air feels lighter. The days are a little longer. And even here in the desert, you can sense that renewal is close. It’s subtle. It’s patient. But it’s coming. And being in the desert where I am, the season changes are abrupt. We went from a mild winter straight into Summer. Spring seems to miss it altogether. And I love that about this season. It reminds me that growth doesn’t always arrive loudly. Sometimes it shows up quietly… and asks us to pay attention.

 

A First Glimpse of What’s Blooming

April will bring something special to Lunar Gypsy Light. This year, I’ve been slowly working behind the scenes on three limited-edition spring candles — small-batch, seasonal, and designed to capture that first breath of fresh air. Today I’m sharing just one of the three that I’ve come up with. A solid, clean beauty that feels like opening a window.

 

Mint + Grapefruit

 

Fresh. Bright. Slightly unexpected. It comes in a colorful jar to welcome the new season with some much-needed color. A bright green! The coolness of mint paired with the uplifting citrus of grapefruit creates a scent that feels crisp without being sharp — energizing without overpowering.

It’s the kind of candle you light:

• When you’re clearing out a room for some spring cleaning
• When you’re resetting your mindset
• When you’re ready for something new and energizing

Details and official names are still being finalized (because quality matters here), but April will be a month to watch. These will be limited. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

 

Why Spring Candles Matter

Something is cleansing about shifting your home fragrance with the seasons. Winter is warmth and snuggles. Spring invites freshness, light, and new growth. Seasonal candles aren’t just décor; they help reset the energy of your space and bring something new in. If you’ve been feeling a little gloomy from all the gray weather, you may be ready for a change.  The small light of a candle shifts that feeling of gray to something uplifting and bright.

 

A Gentle Reminder for March

You don’t have to rush into bloom. Growth happens quietly first.

Before the flowers, before the announcement, before the reveal, this month is about preparation. I’ve spent time testing, refining, and finding the right balance with this candle. I hope that everyone enjoys it as much as I do. It’s a nod to Spring and all the new growth around us.
